Just Another Etsy Monday

Woo hoo! It's Monday! Ok, I'm being a tad sarcastic. Mondays are the worst of days, but I'm going to try to make them a little more fun by trying something new. Every Monday I'm going to post something for sale at Etsy.com. Not familiar with Etsy? Girl, where have you been? It's a neat site with everything from arts and crafts to vintage purses to furniture. There's no need to drive around sifting through junk at thrift stores, just check out some of the great (cheap) vintage finds on Etsy.

With Valentine's Day approaching, I decided to look at some handmade cards for sale, and imagine my surprise when I came up with the card below. Turns out this card also caught someone's eye at the NY Times, because they featured it. Click here to buy it.

Ribcage with Heart $9

Here's another fun card I found that you can just print out from your computer. Click here to buy.

Optical Illusion Valentine $4

Making The World A Better Place One Shoe At A Time

You need a new pair of shoes and so do needy children, so why not solve both problems by buying a pair of TOMS. I had never heard of these shoes, but I went to a super bowl party where someone was wearing a pair. They looked so comfy that I had to know what kind of shoes they were and he told me that for every pair of TOMS you buy, they donate a pair to a child in need. How cool is that? Click here to learn about the company.

The Ash Canvas is the style that seems to be the most popular and they're only $44!

Sephora Free Shipping This Weekend

I know everyone is trying to keep warm this weekend, but take advantage of some online deals. This weekend only, enjoy FREE SHIPPING on orders of $25 or more at Sephora. Just enter code TOUCHDOWN at checkout.

Also, what's great about Sephora is the free samples. Who doesn't love free samples? Plus, not happy with your purchase? Sephora makes things easy, because they offer free returns, online or in the store.

With so many products, it's hard to figure out what to buy. My recomendation is the Marc Jacobs Lola gift set for $70 ($107 value). Lola is Marc Jacobs' newest fragrance. It's a floral scent with vanilla undertones.

For something closer to $25, I recommend the Stila Lip Glaze Collection. At $25 ($80 value) this is a steal. It includes 8 different lip glosses and Stila is a really good brand. Still unsure? Check out all the good reviews.

Designer Wardrobe Without The Designer Pricetag

If you're like me, you love Diane Von Furstenburg, but you can't afford a DVF dress. Well, good news ladies, in the spirit of Bag, Borrow, and Steal there is a new site called Rent The Runway where you can rent dresses for a fraction of the retail price. Keep the dress for either 4 or 8 days and then send it back in the provided envelope. They take care of the dry cleaning and any minor mishaps. Click here to check it out.

Looks like there's a waiting list for membership to the site, so be sure to register with your email address today so you can get a spot on the wait list.
