Spring Break Style

I love going on trips in the spring, and in a couple weeks, I'm heading to Mexico. I can't wait to lay out by the pool and sip tropical drinks, but before I head on my big trip, I need to hit the mall.

Swimsuits - You can't go on spring break without one. As in previous posts, I think Target is the best place to get your new swimsuit. They're inexpensive and super duper cute. Here are a couple that I really like.

Xhilaration Juniors Stripe Bikini - Turquoise/White
$14.99/piece

In case you're a one piece kind of girl, you'll be poppin' in this purple suit:

Merona Bandeau Shirred One Piece - Purple
$34.99

Flip Flops - My absolute favorite flip flops are Havianas. Sometimes I find them on sale at Nordstrom Rack, and at Urban Outfitters. I could walk all over the place in them, and I love that they come in so many different colors. I love these metallic ones from Zappos.

Havianas Top Metallic

$18

Sunblock - Never lay out by the pool without protecting your skin and your face. I usually use a cheaper sunblock like Hawaiian Tropic on my body and a more expensive one for my face, because I don't want my pores to get all clogged up from the sunblock. Sephora has some great sunblocks.

At under $20, this is a great choice. Clinique is a great brand, it's oil-free and best of all, it is SPF 40. I wouldn't use anything less than SPF 30 on my face if I was laying out by the pool. It's also got antioxidants and it can be used under makeup as a primer.

Clinique Super City Block

$17.50

Gaultier Does Target

I love it when Target partners with high fashion designers to bring the masses affordable clothes. Well, they've done it again. Head to your local Target March 7 to snag some threads by French designer John Paul Gaultier.
